Are You Hearing Too Much Static In Your Life? Read This To Change The Channel And Receive A Stronger Signal!

What signal is your antenna tuned into? We all experience static (too caught up in our mind or routines to even notice what's happening around us) that prevents us from connecting to others.

We all have an antenna. What we tune in to, we will find. Most us change stations at different times, ages, phases, or even from hour to hour in our life. When I'm tune in to my Holy Spirit antenna (as my cousin Joe would say) or my spiritual antenna, I am on a joy ride. It's total bliss. The gift of giving opportunities keep on flowing.

When I'm not tuned in, I'm mostly self serving. This could be because I'm depleted, worried (giving into fear), or in a dark spot, angry, in self pity...etc. I can't tell you the number of times I missed an opportunity to help someone for selfish needs.
When your spiritual antenna is in tune, you see opportunities to encourage, lend hope, acknowledge others with a smile and eye contact, be a listener, and simply know that you were put in the right place at the right time to serve someone else. Sometimes we even think something is supposed to be for ourselves only to realize that it was aligned for someone else all along! What was aligned for you was an opportunity to give or serve! You were but a vessel to help carry out the blessing for someone else. Sometimes I even look up (even though I know God surrounds me) and I say "that was funny God, you have a good sense of humor. You must be getting a good chuckle from that one." Then I feel gratitude that I was blessed with being the vessel that was used. Because at that moment, I know I have purpose.
How do you know if your antenna is tuned into the right station? The Holy Spirit, spiritual station?

1. You see the need around you. You notice!
2. You seize opportunities to serve!
3. You feel better than ever! You are in the zone! Like the athlete that can't miss! (You may find you want to belt out the song "This girl is on firrrreeee!" haha!)
4. You feel ONE with the people! You're aware and willing to connect and help in any way you can. I swear it is an antidepressant!

Action step: Ask God to help you tune in and be used, notice and take action! Pray/Meditate on that each morning. Ask to be used and you will be! Go somewhere just to test out your antenna. Make eye contact, stop and help someone with something simple, be accessible spiritually (offering hope, love, encouragement, a lending hand or helping them get connected with the right person.) Another benefit is that you will find others are unexpectedly put in your path to help you in ways you can't even imagine. Your life will be full!

Here are some other signs that you or someone else was tuned in!
1. When you say "Wow, I was lucky!" Nope! You were BLESSED!
2. When you think " Wow, that person came along at the perfect time." It was aligned for you.
3. When someone comes into your path, there is some connection and you think "that was such a coincidence!"...aaaaaa, I don't think so! It was aligned!
4. How many times have you thought "it's a good thing I showed up when I did!"?.....aligned.

Can you imagine how many times we are on the wrong channel and miss opportunities? Things can be aligned a certain way but we have the choice to tune in and help or connect or pass by the opportunity! Don't miss a chance to feel amazing! Tune in to your spiritual channel. Act on an intuition. If something just pops into your head. "I should stop and visit --," the thought may have been aligned as a way to help someone. Take action! Our small intuitions are often whispers from God. We need to listen. Give and receive love daily. Being on the wrong station is a big Loveblocker!

If we are tuned into mistrust, we will find dishonest people. If we are tuned into the flaws of others, we will surely find them! If we tune into judgement, we will surely find plenty to judge! Whatever station you are on, you will receive the signal back! Tune into love and seize opportunity to increase the exchange that God created us to give and receive. God is love. You will never feel more satisfied, full, loved and purposeful then when you are on the right channel! Put your "Holy Spirit" antenna up!
